Orientation

Monday August 29 - Provo, Utah

Hello everyone and welcome to mine and Brookie's blog that we are hopefully going to keep up with during our four month adventure to the middle east. For the sake of time, we are going to be doing one blog and both be posting (especially since we will be experiencing the same things). I (Kelsie) will be using this font for my posts, and Brooke will be using this font so that you can tell who is saying what.

Alright well I think that is good enough for our intro! Today we went to a five hour meeting at BYU to learn all about what we are going to experience and what we need to bring and what we are going to learn. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, but we are learning things as we go just like you guys haha. Yesterday we were BYU Idaho students, today we were BYU Provo students, and tomorrow we will be BYU Jerusalem students! Cant wait :)

Dylan's roommates were so cute and came to see me in Provo today. It was so much fun to see them one more time before I left.

We are about to live in a completely different culture that we have never experienced before. I'm nervous yet excited. One thing I just wanted to add was that we also met our roommates today after the meeting ended and I definitely think we are going to be great friends! So many awesome people are going with us! I am definitely extremely grateful and super excited for this amazing opportunity that we have. Love you all and see you all in 4 months!! :D Tomorrow morning we fly from Salt Lake at 11:30am to JFK airport in New York at 5:30pm, then fly from JFK at 11:59pm to Israel at about 5:30pm their time. A full day of flying and a long lay over in New York. Yuck. Wish us luck! Talk to you all later!
